Toucan CMS™ is flexible and expandable to meet the needs of your website or business. New features are plugged in to the system as modules (or "wings"). Peacock Carter have a number of "wings" to extend Toucan CMS's core functionality including, but can build custom modules for your website should you need them, as part of our web development service.

Blog
Blog functionality can be added to Toucan CMS™ via our suite of blog modules.
CAPTCHA
The CAPTCHA module is used as a spam prevention technique. This module is generally used in conjunction with other modules (such as user registration) to prevent spam.
Calendar
The calendar module is used to display a calendar on your website, and link it to related events. Mini-calendars can also be used in to other pages, to make information easier to find for your visitors.
Contact Form
Our contact form allows visitors to your website to send you an email directly from your website, automatically checking that the details entered are supplied in valid formats.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our Frequently Asked Questions module for Toucan CMS™ displays a list of categorised questions along with answers, and can easily be extended to allow user contributions. Useful as a knowledge-base for support services in conjunction with our customer service ticketing module..
News
Toucan's news module ('wing') allows you to add news stories to your website, with the most recent stories used on the front page, keeping your website's content - and, more importantly, your customers - up to date.
Page Comments
The page comments module of Toucan CMS allows your visitors to leave comments about articles or pages on your website, either forcing them to register first, or allowing them to leave comments anonymously.
Page Ratings
The page ratings module for Toucan allows your website's visitors to rate your pages and articles, and is often used in conjunction with the page comments module.
Customer Service Ticketing System
Peacock Carter's customer service ticketing system for Toucan CMS allows customers to log support tickets online, and for administrators to respond to requests for help. This can be used alongside our SMS (text) messaging feature, allowing support tickets to be texted to nominated phone numbers, for up-to-the-minute notification of customers requiring support.
User Registration
The user registration module for Toucan allows visitors to your website to register and log-in to selected areas of your website.
