Web applications development for timepodz
timepodz offers their application - a 'ticking time capsule' - for sale across a range of different platforms, from the web to mobile devices.
The brief: web applications
The brief included a number of phases to develop a range of web applications:
- Development of a logo design and identity guidelines
- Creation of a website design
- Development of a desktop application using Adobe AIR
- Development of a website application
- Facebook application development
- Development of the idea as a mobile application on a range of mobile platforms
The solution
Our solution was to design and develop the application in iterations, allowing progress to be seen at an early stage in to the project. Feedback could then be incorporated in to the next release of the project.
Web app logo design
Once Peacock Carter had designed a suitable logo design, we set about defining the identity guidelines to help create a constant look and feel throughout each aspect of the project.
Website design and application development
Whilst Peacock Carter worked alongside mobile application developers, we developed the desktop application and its larger brother: the web app.
Also developed was a Twitter app, allowing Twitter users with a timepodz account to receive updates of their latest milestones.
The result: comprehensive, consistent range of web apps
The result is a suite of consistent web applications and mobile applications, each tailored to its own platform but loyal to the timepodz brand.
