Collingwood College JCR is a body that represents students within one college at the University of Durham.

Durham University's Collingwood College JCR (www.dur.ac.uk/collingwood.jcr) needed an ecommerce website to sell 'stash' (clothing and other items embroidered with the college's crest).

The solution

We were able to design and develop a complex website within unusual constraints imposed by the University's IT service.

Custom content management

As well as ecommerce, we customised our content management system, Toucan CMS™, to integrate it with the way Durham University's user accounts work, undertook information architecture and created a website design to suit the vast amount of information the website stores.

The result

The result is a versatile website that allows multiple users to manage bookings and sales online.
