What we're up to in June 2012
June's here, with the celebrations for the Royal Jubilee well underway outside our offices already! Here's what we're up to this month: drop us a tweet if you're attending an event that we are and we'll come and say hello!
6th June: DesignInterest
The next DesignInterest is on 6th June at NE1PostOffice on Pink Lane in Newcastle City Centre (handily around the corner from our offices!).
I can't see a topic announced yet, but the event always has a great mix of design-based topics, so it's well worth a visit. I will be attending this event (Shaun's on holiday for a week).
7th June: Curry Club
NEMoney's regular Curry Club event is back from 12pm on the 7th June. Hosted in the Spice Cube restaurant in The Gate, there's a fantastic curry buffet available, and an opportunity to network informally. I'll be attending this one too!
12th June: Durham Business Club

There's no rest for the wicked as the next week is a busy one too: I'll be at June's Durham Business Club event at Finchale Training College. There's usually room for guests at Durham Business Club events, but June's event is restricted due to a smaller venue than usual - if you'd like to come along in the future, though, contact us!
June 13th: Young Entrepreneurs Trust
It's been a couple of quiet months for the Young Entrepreneurs Trust, but June 13th's event should be more popular with our clever choice of venue: the Brandling Arms on Gosforth High Street. The event starts at 6pm and is a great opportunity to meet young business owners in an informal atmosphere: more details on the website at yetrust.org.uk.
June 21st: NECC

As NECC members, I'll also be at the North East Chamber of Commerce event at the newly opened Hotel Indigo on the 21st June from 4:30 onwards. Again, it's great to have an event so close to our offices (literally across the street!), so I'm looking forward to this one, and a chance to have a snoop around the new hotel, too!
June 27th: Drupal North East
Our month of events ends on a high with Drupal North East at the Salsa Cafe on Westgate Road from 6pm. As always, talks will be confirmed nearer to the time, but I think Adam has some great talks in mind already!
Are there any other events you'd recommend? Let us know!
