One of the great things about Toucan CMS™ is that it is a modular Content Management System. This keeps the core system light and simple, and doing only one thing: content management.

So, we have a modular CMS. Great. But, for it to be any good we obviously need modules! We have quite an array of pre-written modules, and it's really simple to integrate new ones with Toucan.

Our modules

We have the following modules available:

• A blog. This blog is a Toucan CMS module!
• A contact form - allowing visitors to contact you direct from the site.
• CAPTCHA - to fight SPAM for things such as contact forms.
• Mailing lists - managing email mailing lists, making it easy to send mass mailings direct from the site.
• Page comments - allowing visitors to comment on pages, either anonymously, or as 'registered users' of the website.
• Page ratings - allowing visitors to rate pages, either anonymously, or as 'registered users' of the website.
• Payment systems: we've had experience in using plenty of them, including PayPal and WorldPay.
• There are many more in development, too.

We find this flexibility helps clients who want a simple website, and later decide they want to add new features, allowing us to easily create and install new features without disrupting the website.
