Clear Project Briefs - You Know What & We Know What
One frequent problem with creating something for a client such as a web design, is knowing exactly what they want, and also for the client to know exactly what to expect from the supplier.
This is a problem we have encountered on a number of occasions: we create something for a client, only to find out later that they wanted support for something else too, which requires some drastic reworking. This is something we have just recently experienced with one of our clients, it is a case of confusion between both parties, each being unsure of what to expect from the other. The client was not sure how we would handle changes to his requirements, and we did not know that we did not have the full requirements.
Thankfully, we were able to work to solve the problem, and accommodate these needs. Due to these hitches, we have been working on our internal policies and practices, to ensure we know what the client wants and what is expected of us and what the client will provide us with, the client knows exactly what we will do and what is expected of them and also knows how we handle any changes to these.
We are not perfect, but we strive for perfection, and when we discover areas for improvement in our business or the work our business does, we act to improve it as best we can.
